RE

In RE we will be starting a new unit of work from The Old Testament.
The story of Noah and God's Promise to Noah is very important. What do you know about this story?
Today we watched The Big Assembly from London led by Pope Benedict. Pope Benedict visits Birmingham on Sunday. Will you be visiting Cofton Park? Mrs Felton is going and will tell us all about it next week.
Don't forget to keep Pope Benedict in your prayers.


Next Week

Next Thursday we are celebrating Mass at Sacred Heart and Holy Souls Church and then having a tea party in our hall. Don't forget to get baking! We will  be sharing all the cakes at the tea party.

A New Year in Year 2

Welcome back into Year 2.
Here are a few reminders about Year 2
1. Reading folders every day. In Year 2 you can change your book when you have finished reading it and when your grown up has signed your diary. How many books will you read this year?
2. P.E every Monday. In Year 2 we leave our kit in school.
