Year 2 Routines
P.E is on Mondays and therefore full kits need to be in school for this. It is better if they are left for the half term and then taken home for washing each holiday.
Spellings are sent home on Thursdays and there is a spelling challenge each Thursday for the previous week's spellings.
Maths homework is given out on Fridays and collected in every Monday. It is your child's responsibility to put it in the homework tray each week.
Reading books are changed at least every other day and therefore book bags must be in school daily. Please sign the Reading Record, so we can change the book.

Our Half Termly Targets
Every half term, your child will be focusing on a new target for Reading, Writing and Maths. Please work on these at home as they are very important.
- Must targets are those that all children must achieve by the end of half term.
- Should targets are those which should be achieved by most children.
- Could targets are ambitious and for more able children to aim for.
